Acceptable Use Policy for the Indico Service at Chalmers Tekniska Högskola

These guidelines establish the framework within which users are authorized to engage with the Indico platform. They are relevant to all individuals interacting with or visiting the Indico platform.

By setting up a user account on the Indico service and during the login and utilization of the Indico service, you are considered to have accepted and agreed to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy

1. The registration should be used solely to identify yourself to the Indico service for carrying out activities aligned with the application's objective — to simplify event management — and in adherence to these usage terms.
    
2. You must not utilize the registration for illegal purposes or attempt to violate or bypass any administrative or security measures.
    
3. You are required to honor copyright and confidentiality agreements, safeguard your registration details, and secure any sensitive information and files accessible through it.
    
4. If you become aware of or suspect any security violation or misuse of your registration, or the information it provides access to, you must promptly inform the Indico service Facilitator and/or the Service Provider. Contact details are provided below.
    
5. Accessing the Indico service through your registration is done at your own risk. There is no assurance that the service will be continuously available or that it will meet any specific requirements.
    
6. The administrators of the Indico service, which your registration provides access to, have the authority to control and discontinue your access to the service, and you are required to promptly follow their directives.

You bear responsibility for any repercussions resulting from your breach of these usage terms.
