Weather and Clothing
In Gothenburg in late October, expect cool temperatures, averaging around 8.5°C (47.3°F), with daily highs of about 11°C (52°F) and lows near 6°C (43°F). This is a moderately chilly, often breezy, and rainy month, with a 40% chance of rain on an average day and around 9.7 mm of precipitation. Be prepared for cloudy (possibly rain) conditions and bring warm, wind, and water-proof clothing.

Power and Connectivity

For Sweden there are two associated plug types, types C and F. Plug type C is the plug which has two round pins and plug type F is the plug which has two round pins with two earth clips on the side. Sweden operates on a 230V supply voltage and 50Hz. Please bring the appropriate adapters and check your devices for voltage.
Currency and Payments
The local currency is Swedish krona (SEK), meaning "crown" in English, it has been Sweden's official currency since 1873. Credit cards are widely accepted. Some small vendors may prefer cash. ATMs are available throughout Gothenburg.
